Purple. One of my bridesmaids told me she hated purple (yeah, you know who you are Zoe), but she'd wear it if I really wanted her to. I haven't chosen purple as a colour for my bridesmaids, and of course I wouldn't want them to wear something they are unhappy in. Why does it offend so?
I actually quite like it. Clothes wise, I think I own a couple of things that come into the category of Purple (mauve, lavender, grape) and I am reliably informed that it is THE colour for Autumn/Fall 2010.
One of my chunky bracelets is in purple tones, so I used this as a basis for a treasury on Etsy.
What say you? Purple, Yay or Nay? Will you be embracing it this Autumn, or is it a colour best left to your Grandma?

I love purple... but then I suppose I could be considered grandma aged even if I'm not actually a grandma!
I say yay, it was the colour of my bridesmaids dresses a lush deep aubergine/plum with a moss green sash yummy.
Hurrah for this autumns colour. I am championing purple boden shoes. But not championing the price.
Now you see, I have to side with your bridesmaid on this. I was bridesmaid for a friend when I was about 20 and had a shiny pinky/purple dress - it really wasn't pleasant! But then again my favourite, and now decrepit cardigan is a bluey-purple colour and i wore that ALL the time.

I love purple too, it's one of my favourite colours so I will definitely be wearing it this autumn (and every other time of the year!)
Purple is definitely my favourite colour. Lilac was the theme for my wedding, and a huge proportion of my wardrobe is purple. Will definitely be following the trend this AW! x
