I don't know who did these ads, but they look like they were inspired by the Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends cartoon. Which was inspired by the work of Tim Biskup, he worked at the Cartoon Network for a long time. His website is well worth a visit.
I agree with you - they're lovely, aren't they? Apparently the ad agency behind them is BBH, but there's not much on their website about it. Have you seen the fun site that Robinsons have for the campaign with tennis-playing creatures? Not much info, but its quite appealing :o) VCxx
PS have you seen the Lloyds TSB ads? I think those are my favourites - especially the one with the cows doing backstroke in a flooded field!
