slow progress

The day job is still eating up most of my time, so not much time for sewing or blogging or monsters or anything other than work really :o(
I have made a couple of cards though. This one was for a card for a friend of ours who has recently had a baby, and I liked the colours (kind of reminded me of battenberg cake) so I also made a smaller card topper which I think will probably end up as a thank you card.Oh and this is my feet. No matter how busy you are, you still have time to paint your nails - or is that just me?I've had another sale on Etsy (that's 3 now, woo hoo), so here it is wrapped up and ready to go, I won't say who it was for though - don't want to spoil the surprise.

the little applique/embroidery for the card is lovely. i really like your blog banner too, its really sweet : )

i have the 'sock and glove' book too, but mine is in japanese. i didn't have any japanese craft books or magazines at all (just drooled over them on other peoples blogs!), until earlier this year, my husband came back from a trip to singapore with 14!!.

It was for me!!! And it arrived today! (It's still wrapped up though because OBVIOUSLY I had to take pictures of that gorgeous wrapping!) Thanks, Monda, I shall blog about it soon. (That's if I ever open it, cos it looks so pretty!)

Equally pretty cards, by the way .... sorry, I got a bit carried away there by the excitement of my package!

Hi Monda,

Just wanted to let you know that I've blogged about Mieke, your marvellous monster, today. It's a tale of him joining the monkey madness that is our house.

I wanted to leave you feedback on your etsy shop but being technically challenged as I am, I didn't know how to do it!
