light painting

This evening when I got home from work, I switched on the TV and found myself watching Blue Peter (wow, this programme has changed a lot over the years). There was a feature on it about light painting - something I didn't know about before today. I found a 2 minute tutorial on YouTube and had to give it a go

I have to say it's not as easy as it looks but it is great fun though - give it a go, I'd love to see what you come up with. These are my (and Mr Monda's) efforts:

a squiggle

a flower

a Christmas tree

It's also 20 years of Wallace and Gromit today. This is the google home page by way of celebration:

What a coincidence... my next assignment is the figure and light so when I googled this for some research I discovered light painting for the first time yesterday. I didn't try it though... I like what you've done! Today's google homepage is Sesame Street... it's great!

Cool! I had wondered how this was done but never got around to finding out.

Oh wow! I am loving it. I should give it a go. How clever is that?
You have done really well with the light painting. I wouldn't know where I had drawn first!
Have a great weekend :D
