Hyacinth palette

This last few weeks I've had quite a few fresh flowers in the house what with the wedding and my birthday. My sis sent me these hyacinths which were a lot stronger in colour when I first received them. A week on, they have lost a lot of their colour and are starting to die. They are still beautiful though, and make for possibly the prettiest palette I have made from a photograph:

These are the same flowers photographed a little closer. It's amazing how different the colours are. The palette is a lot stronger with less muted tones, but still as lovely.
